This cable only works from a USB-C source device to a DisplayPort display.

It does not support reverse connection from a DisplayPort source device to a USB-C monitor.

USB-C Port Requirement

Your USB-C device must support video output through DisplayPort Alt Mode. Charging-only USB-C ports are not supported. Please check your laptop, tablet or PC specifications before purchase.
